Mohair wool is a natural noble yarn obtained from the fleece of the Angora goat . A breed originally from Asia Minor that settled in the province of Ankara, now the capital of Turkey, from which it took its name. Mohair fabric has specific characteristics such as warmth, brilliance, resistance to wear, uniformity in color, elasticity (does not crease) and resilience (very low tendency to felt).
