solaro / drawing 2
The solaro suit is a must-have, a symbol of style and elegance, worn throughout history by young and charming gentlemen such as Gianni Angelli and Marcello Mastroianni. It was invented in the early 1900s for military use, in fact it was believed that a light-coloured fabric could have beneficial effects on soldiers, protecting them from the sun's rays - hence the origin of the name.
