Wool tartan / design 10
From the crossing of different threads and colors that are repeated in the so-called "sett", lines and squares with different chromatic effects are born. The origin of tartan fabrics is linked to Scotland, in particular to the Highland area, where clan members adopted tartan as a symbol of distinction and cultural belonging. Our tartans all come from the oldest woolen mill in Scotland, founded in 1872, the only one that is still capable of offering very high quality yarn while maintaining the original colors of the Scottish clans of the time.
