wool tartan / design 25
From the intersection of different threads and colors that are repeated in the so-called "sett" lines and squares are born with different chromatic effects. The origin of tartan fabrics is linked to Scotland, in particular to the Highland area, where clan members adopted tartan as a symbol of distinction and cultural belonging. Our tartans all come from the oldest wool mill in Scotland, founded in 1872, the only one that is still able to offer a very high quality yarn while maintaining the original colors of the Scottish clans of the time.
